Zephyr & Valkyrie co-branded RTX 4080 now available in China
The Chinese company has finally unveiled its high-performance RTX 40 design.
Zephyr is a lesser-known board partner that occasionally produces graphics cards that diverge from the standard design. The latest RTX 4080 model is equipped with an all-in-one solution featuring liquid cooling and an external 280mm radiator. This model was designed in partnership with Valkyrie, a cooling company responsible solely for the cooler.

The card ships with an AD103 GPU boasting 9728 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR6X memory. Zephyr has equipped this card with three DisplayPort and one HDMI output, while power is supplied by a single 12VHPWR connector located on the side. This placement is intended to improve cable management.
The card measures 276x119x52 mm, making it slightly thicker than two slots. This measurement does not include the radiator and tubes, which will undoubtedly require a significant amount of space in the chassis as shown below:

Previously unveiled as the RTX 4080 SUPER, the first model to launch is actually a non-SUPER variant. Chinese media reports indicate that this model has just gone on sale for 8,099 RMB (approximately $1,180 USD), which is indeed not cheap. In fact, the SUPER model should be cheaper, but Zephyr has not confirmed the production of a SUPER version yet. It was only speculation from Chinese media that has not materialized.

Nevertheless, with rumors circulating that NVIDIA is no longer producing RTX 4080 GPUs and is focusing on the SUPER variant, the timing of this release is particularly interesting. It’s likely that this is a very low-volume launch, no to mention this design will not be available globally. So yes, RTX 4080 non-SUPER are still being made, question is who would ever buy it given that SUPER is cheaper?
