First non-reference laptop with Snapdragon X pictured
Lenovo is preparing Yoga Slim 14.
And so it begins, the first generation of Lenovo’s first laptop with Qualcomm high-performance Snapdragon X series has been revealed. The company is preparing a Yoga Slim design with a 14-inch (or 14.5 inch) screen that will ship with a Snapdragon processor.
Thus far, Qualcomm has only showcased demo reference systems featuring striking red colors. It is no secret that many premium laptop makers are already working on laptops with Snapdragon X series, some of which were leaked through platforms like Geekbench, but actual pictures have not been shared yet.

Lenovo already has several Slim laptops called either 7i (with Intel) or just 7 for AMD. The latest version, called “Gen8,” featured Ryzen 7040 series or Intel 13th Gen Core series. The company has already refreshed its 5i models and ThinkPad X1 series to Meteor Lake (Core Ultra 100U) models, but the 7i has not been updated yet.
It looks like the Snapdragon Edition will feature the Microsoft Copilot button, which was not present on Intel Meteor Lake systems. Qualcomm has put a lot of emphasis on the Snapdragon X NPU performance and how it can accelerate various AI and ML algorithms on the device.
Sadly, the leaker did not specify any specs or provide further details on the release date. The X Elite and X Plus laptops are expected to make their debut in the coming months, possibly around Computex.
