MSI RTX 4090 SUPRIM X “Ruan Mei” Edition
The company is either working or has been working on a special edition of the RTX 4090 SUPRIM GPU.
The custom version of RTX 4090 is based on a character from a game Honkai: Star Rail. This character is Ruan Mei, a scholar and expert in biological sciences. The full name of the card is actually visible on the poster which is bundled with the GPU, but the resolution is too low to read it.
According to the photos shared by hongxing2020 on X/Twitter, the card is based on RTX 4090 SUPRIM X design, which means it has the same clocks and specs as the original version. It is based on the newer SUPRIM design, not the CLASSIC one that we covered in this post. The card received a new green and gold shroud design along with an entirely new backplate.

The links visible on the poster clearly link to the Chinese MSI website, indicating it may be exclusive to this country. That said, one should be curious why this card is appearing right now, considering that new RTX 4090 cards can no longer be imported to China.
Essentially, this could have been one of the canceled designs or something that will still appear under RTX 4090D SKU at some point. But where will one find a green motherboard to match this design?
