Minisforum AtomMan X7 Ti Mini-PC announced: Core Ultra 9 185H CPU, built-in touch screen, video camera and OCuLink support

Minisforum to launch first AtomMan Mini-PC this month

Starting with the flagship model.

AtomMan is the new sub-brand of Minisforum, whose position in the Mini-PC market has been among the strongest in the industry. The plethora of devices powered by Intel and AMD CPUs has built a large portfolio of compact and portable systems. The company decided to launch a new brand called AtomMan, where high-end systems with the latest CPUs will be used.

The first product launching on May 20th is AtomMan X7 Ti, which is a high-end Mini-PC equipped with Intel’s top Core Ultra processor (Core Ultra 9 185H). This is also the first such product featuring Meteor Lake architecture and the so-called Dynamic Screen, also known as a tiny display showing system monitoring information.

The screen is color and 4-inch, and it is actually a touch input screen. Users will be able to display real-time system information, control the device power settings, or display time or personalized themes.

According to the company, this particular system will be available in two variants: X Series (Exploration/AI) and G Series (Gaming). The X7 Ti appears to be part of the former product series. Unfortunately, it has not been explained in the press release what advantages the Gaming model would have, but other products like the HX200G are expected to feature a discrete GPU. So, that is likely out of the question for this form factor.

Now, let’s take a look into the features and specs. The Core Ultra 9 185H is a 45W processor, which will feature a 65W TDP setting on this product. It features 16 cores and 22 threads and a boost clock up to 5.1 GHz (the highest in the entire Meteor Lake lineup). Onboard, one will find 8 Xe-Cores on the integrated Arc graphics based on Alchemist architecture. It is quite possibly the fastest implementation of the Core Ultra in this form factor yet.

The system comes equipped with DDR5 memory at a 5600 MT/s speed. Onboard, there are three M.2 slots, two for storage (2280 and 2230, both PCIe Gen4) and one 2230 for WiFi (supports up to WiFi7 and Bluetooth 5.4).

In terms of video output, it supports up to quad display through HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.0, and two USB4 Type-C connectors. Those who need fast networking on top of the wireless connection should be pleased to learn that it also comes with dual 5GbE NICs.

Of course, one of the highlights is the OCulink support and built-in video camera. The system will go on sale on May 20th. The company has not yet confirmed pricing.
