Gigabyte AI TOP graphics cards
The return of blower cooling.
Gigabyte is presenting its new product series called AI-TOP, which, as the name suggests, is a series of components designed for AI inference without breaking the bank. The reason we can say this is because Gigabyte’s GPUs from the AI-TOP series are not part of the NVIDIA RTX workstation series but are based on the gaming GeForce RTX brand. These cards are significantly cheaper.
The company has showcased its first card, namely the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER at Computex. This is an upgraded model from January, with increased 16GB GDDR6X memory capacity and the AD103 GPU. It is unclear whether Gigabyte will launch more models, such as the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB or RTX 4080-class series, but this would be a logical expectation.
The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER features a custom cooling solution based on a single blower-type cooler. Gigabyte is displaying one card with a simple yet elegant silver color scheme. This model does not include RGB lighting, but it prominently features a large AI-TOP logo on one side.
At Computex, Gigabyte is showcasing this new card in a cluster of four cards used on the TRX50 workstation board, offering a budget-friendly option from AMD. There is no information about the release date or pricing for this card yet.
