AOKZOE to present A2 Ultra gaming handheld, powered by Ryzen 7 8840U?
The company confirms that new 2024 products will be revealed soon

On Weibo, AOKZOE has confirmed the imminent announcement of a new gaming handheld. The company is gearing up to unveil new products for 2024, which will include an Ultra variant of the current A2 handheld. This handheld is powered by the Ryzen 7 7840U processor from AMD.
Although the company hasn’t disclosed further details about the new system, there are two potential scenarios. Either the A2 Ultra will feature the Ryzen 7 8840U “Hawk Point,” serving as a direct replacement for the 7840U “Phoenix” with nearly identical specifications, or the “Ultra” designation could refer to the Intel Core Ultra series. Given that the product retains the “A2” moniker, the former option seems more plausible.

If that assumption holds, this marks the fourth significant release featuring AMD hardware. The A2, launched in December, underwent a last-minute specification update, now boasting 32GB RAM as standard. This change was made in direct response to the release of the Lenovo Legion GO, which is capped at a 16GB capacity.
Information regarding the A2 Ultra is scarce across other social media platforms, with the exception of Chinese Weibo where the teaser was exclusively shared. Once we learn more, we will provide an update as soon a possible.
